Re: My new deul exhaust

Looks good

I agree with Spec, the tips do stick out a bit but that's just imo.

Is it an axle back system or a complete system? If it's a complete system, you may be able to adjust the over axle pieces up and that might help pull the mufflers/tips back a little.

Re: My new deul exhaust

Oh, I like your car's stance...those wheel spacers make it look mean. A nice set of lowering springs would really set if off...

Re: My new deul exhaust

hmm your wheels shouldnt stick out past the fenders, looks bad for one and makes throwing up crap on your car much worse

Re: My new deul exhaust

I'm guessing he bought mudflaps to try and combat that issue in the back...doesn't always work though, at least not for me.

Re: My new deul exhaust

really i kinda like the wheels sticking out past the fenders look, not by much, just a bit. how do you acheive that look?

by the way exhaust is nice, i agree with both about the tips, but to each his own....what kind of system is it?

I always liked the looked on old school muscle cars. Big camaros or dodge's with a nice rake always looked sweet with the wheels sticking out.

Yah you probably won't need wheel spacers if you get 10.5" wheels

Re: My new dual exhaust

Yah, all the aftermarket bullitts are slightly different than the stock ones you have on now. Unfortunately they're different enough to be noticeable if you kept the stockers on in the front and put aftermarket 10.5" in the back.

im guessen you mean with the rims.......well my detailing guy said do the following.....
clean them good, water and some brake dust remover/dirt remover
wipem down
belive it or not then said use windex
Then he said buy the mother waxing ball made to attach to drills
and use mother pure carnuba wax on the rims

if you do this a couple of times, the shine seems to not fade away.....like say you do this 4 times in 2 months, next time you get the car washed or wash it the shine seems to somewhat remain.....

its not a science and it might sound stupid to some but thats how i got them like that lol

Re: My new dual exhaust

are they chrome or polsihed, I assume chrome going by your signature. Chrome is 10000x easier to take care of than polished. For polished you want to use a sealer if you DD the car.

well, i washed it atleast once a week with mother car wash, then dry with microfiber towels and then spent the next 4 hours hand waxing it with mothers pure carnuba wax...i did this for about 3 years atleast once a week lol yes at one point my car was MY LIFE.....still love it lol just no time with work.
lately i have been using mothers FX car wax.

but i told him i just got this car and what should i do to clean it.....i suggested taking it to a regular car wash and he slapped me upside my head lol

After the wash and dry hes the one who suggested using ONLY PURE Carnuba wax.......the only one i could find at any store was mothers, so i just stuck to their whole line of products. Its been good to me so far lol

wow mothers should pay me! lol
