getting frustrated-please help

A couple of weeks ago I ordered a Mac cold air intake from a place called "Speed Concepts". To make a long story short, I cancelled my order, so now I need to order another one. Two questions: 1. what is the difference between a cold air intake and a mass airflow package? 2. Has anyone ever done business with a place called Pro3 industries inc., if not , where is a good place to get a CAI? Thanks

cold air has bends in the tubing making the filter in the fenderwell or somewhere to get cold air. Mass air has no bends and just gets the air right there at the engine. The colder your air, the better, but the mass air has less obstruction of the airflow without bends so its your choice, they both tend to be about the same performance wise

oh, and no i've never dealt with them or anything. A lot of people get a CAI off ebay just because your mostly paying for the name with the well-known companies. Some get the ebay one for the tubing, then replace the filter with a k&n or just keep the filter...otherwise you could get one from some site sponsors im sure.

Just get an ebay CAI, smaller filter, if you feel it is restricting some, just replace it, you'll still come out ahead.

Thanks guys! BTW, I'm in South Carolina, not Cali. I already have a K&N filter so Ebay it is. Guess I'll see how good Rellik's instructions are LOL.

I've been to Rock Hill multiple times. RGR used to live there and my dyno place is just north of you in Fort Mill. If you need help with anything, I have a fully functional garage (no lift, but i have 4 jackstands) with a compressor and just about any power tool you can think of. Just let me know. I can definately help you out.
