when did all transmissions become sycronized? did all the muscle cars have them? and for the ppl that have driven them, how much harder are they to drive? i was told I have to double clutch (in the real meaning of the expression not the F&F version) is this true? thanks for the help

you have to rpm match with the motor to get it spinning the same speed to shift gears, which is easy with practice I guess. I belive some 18 wheelers still have no syncro trannys due to syncros go out faster. I would NOT want to drive a non syncro'ed tranny daily...
