They are the kind that just lay over your existing ones(self lighting) or do the originals need to come out?

I sure hope that they are just overlays, because those are the simplest.

Basically, the whole gauge pod comes out, then take out all the screws around the edges, and PAY ATTENTION to where your needles are!!!!! Esp fuel.

If they are overlays, DO NOT remove your needles, just slide the new gauges over the needles and rest it on top of the old gauges. If they are EL GLO or w/e like mine, then you'll have to find which wire is your parking lights wire, and splice it in there. Find a ground, and you're done. Mine was brown, no guarantee on yours though.

Yes, be mindful to where the needles are and DO NOT lift up on any of them. You can't pull them out and you can actually hurt the speedo by pulling on the needle even a little bit.

My gauges were overlays for a reason, easier to install. If they are not overlays then you need the needle remover tool as well as some balls to swap them.

Shoulda visited Ebay, they have cheaper ones that have color changes at night, i can have mine blue or green.

Anyways, they look like overlays to me, but that pic is small.

Actually those are not over lays, this is what you have to do. You need to pull the little plastic needle stoppers out and mark where all the needles point to. Then take the two little metal clips that came with the gauges and remove all the needles. Pull off the old gauges and be sure to remove any residue left behind. Then put the new gauges on and push the needles back on to the cluster where they were pointing before you removed them. And that's it. You may need to calibrate them some, so what I did was I just hooked up the eletronics and and that's all, I didn't put the plastic cover back on or anything. I started up the car and fixed the needles. You know that your gauges are off if they're pointing in a weird spot. Just take the needles off and place them in the direction they need to be.
