Are you looking for a standalone unit or one that needs a PC or laptop?

Just a way to find out what's wrong with my car when I get the "check engine light". Don't got a laptop anyways

There are cheaper ones available for just reading codes.

There are cheaper ones that work on any OBDII vehicle.

If his truck is OBDI then this is the one to get.
