Supercharger question

Has anyone had any expierence with the vortech supercharger, what do you think about it. Also, what is the difficulty level of installing it myself. Not set on it, but I can get it intercooled for 4,200 or pay 4,200 for the x-charger. I have rather good knowledge of vehicles, done my own timing, water pumps, engine removal, differential removal. Any help is appreciated.

Re: Supercharger question

vortech makes very good products. aside from tapping into the oil pan. the rest of the install is just nuts and bolts. vortech is one of the louder blowers and even makes noise at idle.

If you go V-3, then it is a self contained unit, and no oil pan tapping is required..

Re: Supercharger question

When I worked at autosport, we installed a vortech on a honda S2000. It was very nasty. Great product.
