I disagree I have the BBK TB. It is so worth it. The BBK is huge. Allows much more air to come into the engine.

Re: Throttle Bodies?

Bigger Throttle Bodies do not do much for stock engine, usually just a better throttle response, but really no noticeable gains...

Until you go Forced Induction. Having FI will really benefit the bigger throttle body since more air can be pushed through.

Re: Throttle Bodies?

i got mine from the same place, got it quick and easy, worth the money. very sensitive throttle response, little heavier to push down, easy to get used to though.

Re: Throttle Bodies?

over the past 11 years ive watched many a dyno with near or stock engines and throttle bodies. They simply are not worth it. If you were pushing the CFM and the upper intake was port matched then sure but you wont be. Why would you want a throttle body that well is so big the intake isnt and you just have a wall where the throttle body meets the upper intake.
