wierd clank

i went to the drag races tonight, i did 4 runs. the last wasnt so pretty. i did a burnout to warm up the tires. pulled up to the line took the overdrive off and brake torqued it. well when it finally got traction, a weird pop happened. the car still drives, but occasionally it has a pop coming from the rear of the car. i have no clue what it is. it does it alot more when i turn left or right. my question is, is it the suspension, the gears, the entire rear end, the axle, driveshaft. please help me with finding out what it is. for the stuff i have done to the car is: dual exhaust, bbk 65mm throttle body, bbk shorty headers, bbk cai, and a programmer. but it has not been reprogrammed with the new throttle body on.

Re: wierd clank

Lift the car off the ground (not using the rear axle, so the suspension drops down)

Look at all your bushings/check all your bolts and mounts - Something may have shifted/slipped/broken or come loose during the launch or burnout

And check your rear brakes/ebrake as well, doing a burnout will heat up the rear brakes realllly fast
