gearing and speed question 3.27 to 4.10

ok my problem is this:

i do hella more city driving than highway and my gas mileage needs all the help it can get. most of my town is a 45mph speed limit so i do 45-50 most of the time.

right now w/ my 3.27's doing 45-50 puts me about 200-250rpms below wanting to be in 5th, so it guzzles a good bit of gas being at 2300rpms constantly, (as my normal shifting point is around 2500rpms)

i wondered if the 4.10's would put me into 5th gear at a low rpm (but not too low for the gear) doing that speed.

in fifth gear with 4.10's your car will be around 1700-1900rpms. i've only met people with 3.73's in the rear and they around 1500 at 50mph in fifth gear so i'm guestimating.

ted arent you auto? if so, thats 2.73's back there. if not, dont mind me.

i too am going with 4.1's soon(week or two), my 5th gear is reaaaaaally long, and its useless unless youre going 80+(bogging the motor hurts mileage, good to keep rpm around 2-2.5k), and anything under that in 4th the car is running at 2500+ and sounds like youre racing yourself. i want 4.1's so i can use 5th in the city, and still be at around 2.3-2.5k on the freeway doing 80. thats the reason im basically doing 4.1's. here i went from the gst with a super short 4-5th(going from 4th to 5th only dropped you 400rpm) feeling like i would love the super long 5th gear, but im starting to hate it.
