I don't know what im going to do about this smog pump in the fender wall, most people don't even know about it. its definitly in the way, I need to find a bracket for it and I cannot make one. I have a 99 v6, theirs no way I can put this COI intake in until I figure out what to do. does any one have any ideas, I managed to find a picture of the smog pump and the bracket thats in the way, this is one from a tuturion on how to install the intake on a CA car.

Dude...I have absolutely no freaking idea, but I'll ask around other places and see if anyone knows anything.

i didn't have a problem either. i'm from CA and also have a 99 V6. I installed a Mac CAI and didn't have anything that was too much in the way. there is a hose that i had to shove over but it's fine where it is. nothing to keep me from putting it in. to make it an easier install, just take off your front right wheel so you can pull back the fender well more and get a better angle at it.

im pretty sure you will need to move it out of the way and mount it somewhere else so it will fit.
