Re: look what i just bought

I would buy new bolts to install it. Its a good habit to develop, never use old fasteners.

It should bolt right up to your car, same chassis and all. I'm just not sure it will make a difference. It looks like a front sway bar and I'm pretty sure ours come with them.

Wait, just noticed it was a GT sway bar. It may be a bit thicker than your stock one.

get a gt rear bar to compliment the front one, your stock endlinks should work fine.

To be honest...a front gt swaybar will not do you much good. ...

Re: look what i just bought

Depending on your setup the bar may or may not have much of an effect.

Generally speaking a stiffer front bar will tend to decrease oversteer (loose rear).

My 96 has the stock bars front and rear and the rear is loose, this is due to changes I made in other suspension components. I am debating removing the rear bar or stepping up to a thcker bar in the front. I'll probably pull the rear bar to see if it helps then I'll contemplate a bigger fornt bar and reinstall the rear bar.

Your suspension is all interrelated and changing one part will affect the whole.

the front sway bar will be identical to yours, if not smaller. Keep what you have.
