Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

Is it lopsided? Did you take an isolator out the left side and left one in on the right side? There's a ton of things that could happened.
When you put in your rear struts, did you make sure they were seated properly and torque them down correctly?
Did you replace springs? and if so, did you check them to begin with to ensure they were the same height, the same spring, the same rate?
There's a ton of things that coulda happened to do that...does it seem is is worst in the front or back?

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

1) Did you change the springs? If so...did you check and see the springs are the same.

2)Did you ensure the shocks/struts were seated properly?

3)Did you ensure the springs were seated properly?

4)When you installed the c/c plates, did you ensure the spacers were properly installed?

5)Did you torque everything on the suspension back properly?

6)Did you ensure there was nothing in the way of the suspension going back to it's proper location?

There are a ton of things to check on this. It looks to me, with no given information, that the springs are different heights.

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

There is a difference in height between the front and rear springs. But both front springs should have been the same exact size, and both rear springs should have been exactly the same size. Were they?

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

correct me if im wrong, but i belive that the "pigtail" of the bottom of the spring is supposed to point torwards the drivers side of the car. im not 100% on that though. might be worth looking at.

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

If one rear spring is just a little taller than the other....that will cause a difference in side to side height. But that shouldn't make that big of a difference unless they are like an inch difference.
Now...if a pigtail is turned different and the springs are slightly different heights, that would cause that.

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

does it right normal? if you just put shocks in one of the shocks may not be working exactly right, keeping it up in the air. driveover something to compress the side thats highter a couple times and drive it a few miles to see if it gets better.

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

Did you compress the rear shocks a few times before putting them on? I've heard it's best to compress them by hand several times to get them working correctly again since they normally sit up in storage buildings for months.

Re: rear suspension need help fixing it...

I did with mine...but just see if you can drive somewhere to compress and uncompress that side several times using the weight of the car.
