valve covers

Anyone know of some decent replacement valve covers for a 3.8 besides the BBK I see everywhere? I would prefer some black ones.

Re: valve covers

Man I haven't seen any black ones, let alone any other brand of covers for the 3.8.

You could get the the aluminum BBK ones for $200 and paint them black. I know people do it all the time.

Re: valve covers

I am going to buy an extra pair of stock valve covers and have the shop that painted my car paint them for me and then swap them out with the ones on my car now.
If you don't mind the stock covers you could buy an extra set and have them painted, even powder coated black which I would think would look sweet!

Re: valve covers

Definitely going Aluminium painted or powder coated black is a good option. Or even just paint/powder coat.
