v6 2002 ecu question

I have a 2002 v6 mustang with coldair intake system and a tornado air. I also have to chips one is a gorilla chipz which is a horsepower enhancer increases performance by "modifying the air/fuel ratio, Adjusting the Timing advance, modifying shift timing". it says its supposed to add between 28-43 more HP. I have another chip which "THIS CHIP SENDS SIGNALS TO YOUR CARS COMPUTER TELLING IT THAT THE AIR COMING IN IS COLDER". says supposed to add 10-20 HP.

The real question will be ok to put both in the car? Will it make it around a 60 HP boost?

Thank you, I really appreciate it.

You'll have to go into more detail about your "chips" but I'm 99% positive that that second one is useless.

Ebay?

Re: v6 2002 ecu question

I moved the thread.

The second one for sure will not work. It's a resistor from a local Radio Shack type store they bought for a dollar or two.

Not positive about the first.

Re: v6 2002 ecu question

if something says it takes only a minute to install and magically add 60 HP be skeptical about it. that chick with the fine *** is prob what sells the product to people.
and the second one is a hoax too. there's no point in telling your computer that you have cooler air coming in if it's actually hot air. in that instance tricking the car won't work.

definitely try getting your money back if that's possible and save up for a real programmer.

Re: v6 2002 ecu question

Ok, chip one:
does he ever ask what your computer code is?
it states you get "firmer longer shift times"....I dunno bout everyone else, but I love my quick shifts from my SCT chip.
it states it doesn't void the warranty...as far as I know, you go into ford with a chip in your car, they won't touch the thing.

The second "chip"...is a piece of metal not worth 2 dollars from your local radio shak.

And btw, the only thing that tornado does is get in the way of your incoming air to your engine.
