you might need new lines but for sure probly new mounting brackets and so forth. since you are going from one piston to however many pbr is.

Just the calipers is all you should need.

Re: Real quick question about brakes

The only thing you will need is to grind a small area on the side of the mount area on the spindle to allow them to mount. There is a small raised area on the spindle that will not allow the mount bracket attach flush. this takes about 5 minutes with a grinding rock attached to a drill motor or 3 minutes with a die grinder or a dremel tool.

I know because I have PBR's on my 98

Re: Real quick question about brakes

some need grinding some do not, at least thats what ive heard. The ones I have done have all required grinding, maybe if you have a 97 up you can get by with it but dont count on it. The griding is not hard, is nearly lined up (you will see where to grind with out issue) the stoping is alot better, I would just save up and buy cobra brakes, not much more and they look great and stop tons better.

Re: Real quick question about brakes

All 94-96 need grinding. It is hit and miss on 97-98. I helped people who did not need grinding but my 98 did.

Re: Real quick question about brakes

You cant go wrong with new SS lines and banjo fittings but tusing the old lines will work

i believe ebay always has cheap cobra brakes, really cheap. You can get teh bullit ones for cheap also. If not now you always can upgrade again down the road.

Re: Real quick question about brakes

But PBR's are much cheaper and provide great stopping power with their dual pistons and aluminum housing.

Though I like Cobra brakes I hate 13in rotors on 17in rims. There is no room to clean the inner rims.
