EGR valve

I noticed when I was taking my car apart that there was no vacuum line coming from the top of the EGR valve.

I'm in the process of putting everything back together, and I don't know what's supposed to go from that valve...and where it's supposed to go TO...

Anyone have any pics that might help out? I've been scouring the web but can't seem to locate any.

Thanks!

Re: EGR valve

assuming its a split port motor, the vacuum line goes from the egr valve to the egr selonoid on the front left side ( if you are facing the vehicle) of the intake manifold. i'll try to have some pics up this weekend.

Re: EGR valve

Thanks! I found the connectors in my stash of extra parts. There wasn't one on the car when I originally got it, but when I had to buy a replacement engine, they were there, attached to a cracked egr solenoid I had discarded. Glad I still have boxes of random extra parts laying around.
