Re: Rotors

To be honest, I wouldn't buy cross drilled/ slotted rotors. They will crack under any decent amount of breaking. Brandon will attest to this.

don't know which Brandon you're refering to, me or Spector, but I can attest to them cracking.

If you must get drilled, you're looking at at LEAST $150-200 per rotor for a good quality one. eBay cheapies will crack under heavy load. You tell yourself, I won't be putting any heavy load on them, but then you need to stop suddenly one day and your rotor brakes.

The cheapest drilled ones I would buy are the OEM Bullit rotors. (Although they are made by Brembo, as are the Cobra's) I would spend around $350 and get a set of Brembo rotors. They will look good, and be fully functional, and safe. :thumbs2:

Re: Rotors

To be honest, it won't do you much good to even get drilled rotors. With the current advances that have been made in brake pads. I'd get a good set of solid rotors and a good set of brake pads, and you'll be set for a long time with no worries of any problems.

Re: Rotors

cross drilled and slotted are for looks and will warp pretty quick and get annoying and shake your car. Get regular plain rotors and you will not only stop BETTER but you will not have issues. I would get them coated to prevent rust.
