Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

You're going to have to PM AMNick and see if he has any special codes. There was a big thing on how a "one time code" got out and about so the company has taken the whole "giving out special codes" thing very seriously.

I have to say though I can't blame them.

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

Not anymore...there used to be one that was exclusive to M.E. members only...but it soon got spread to tons of non members that owned mustangs and American Muscle probably said **** this, we like to give deals, but we can't give discounts to everyone, so they pulled the code.

Actually, the one that passed around here was really from 3.8....AM would never reply to anyone's PM's about a code for the longest time and another member had a code from 3.8 that was shared through PM's. However, the code got over used between that site, this site, and however many other sites used it as well.

Ah I see, it basically snowballed into every mustang site using that same code...that'll do it too.

To the OP, as stated above, your best bet is to contact AMNick.

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

AM has a listing of affiliated car clubs. They've narrowed down by region so just search the region you live in for a club nearby.

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

Personally you're better off polishing them off and painting them. The ose MGP (or whatever) Covers aren't the greatest.

Really? I've talked to a couple guys with S197's who have them and they liked the covers...didn't have any fitment issues or failure. I thought they looked cool, it was the $199.99 price tag that always turned me away

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

Maybe it's different for the S197 than the SN95? :dunno:

I just remember hearing from some other guys that they didn't like having them for different reasons: didn't fit right, didn't like how they look, and I think a lot of really expensive for very little.

But it's personal opinion too thrown in there (mine and the other reviewers). To spend that much money for covers, I know. For just a little elbow grease, a dremel and a can of paint you can probably achieve nicer and greater results, plus you have the color option, or the option to just leave the calipers mirror polished.

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

Yah that mirrored look is pretty sweet. You don't see it too much either. Everyone goes with red...

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

The only problem with going with polished is that you can only do the fronts, or I'm guessing the rears too as long as you can do some protective coating. Because everyone goes with red it makes me like the idea of painting the calipers even more since you can be unique and do any color choosing. Although red is one of the best looking colors.

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

That's true. I thought of painting mine sonic blue, and putting the black "mustang" decals on the calipers, but I wasn't sure if it'd look good. The dupli color blue isn't close, and neither are the high temp blues...I guess there's always red

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

I'd love to see your car with blue calipers but I do not blame you, you'd have to match that Sonic Blue

Red on Blue will look nice, it'll be just that touch of color that brakes it up and just make the otherwise empty wheel wells look amazing.

I want to do mine but I can't decide on the color.
Red - yeah, but I want something different
Yellow - :eww:
Blue - Most likely since I also have a bit of a blue theme going on.
Black - will probably look clean for a while, but just blend in.
White - ?????
Gray - might be better with Polish or Silver, keep it for a flat looking color in the wheel well.
Polish/Silver - Polish would be nice, but possibly not do-able for front and rears, so Silver would be next and would be a color match for my car which I'm not sure if I want that and keep the same color on.

Re: Americanmuscle.com coupons?

Mustang Evolution is currently enrolled in our affiliate program in which instead of a discount code, ME earns a % of each sale that is placed through an ad or link on this site. This means that through each purchase you make, you are supporting the operating costs of this site. Obviously we cannot also provide a discount code for ME or we would loose money on every order. Please see this thread for more info: Mustang Evolution - Announcements in Forum : American Muscle

Thanks,

Nick

im not sure there is a difference as long as you go from this site to their site, but perhaps if you are a member the site gets more money~

It doesn't matter if you log in or not as long as you click a link to American Muscle that is on this site before you buy.
