Re: 3.73 gears

they make 3.73 gears for 7.5 inch rear ends (v6 models) and for 8.8 inch rear ends (GT/cobra models) so you need to find out if they will even work.

I dont think used gears are a good investmet, if they have not been used then sure thats fine (unless they are richmond due to they whine (design)) I would get em if they were OEM ford adn would work for your application.

For 94-98 v6's and GT's they shave off nearly half a second and for 99 ups maybe 2.5-.3 tenths.

The install is VERY critical and must be done correctly by a trained professional, and get a warranty aginst whinning and breakage IN WRITING.

I would expect 300 bucks for an install~ get a Tlok unit if you dont have one already due to they are cheap and its the EXACT same amount of work to install it as gears (well just about)

Re: 3.73 gears

I have had both & like the 4.10's much better.

You need to find out if they are 7.5 which you need or 8.8.
