Re: in the shop!

haha, I'd probably take it easy on the new hardware for a few hundred miles, if not more before getting dirty with it...as tempting as it is.

Re: in the shop!

Yah I just know the gears need some time to break in and find their wear pattern...I'm sure a "small" burnout wouldn't hurt a couple days after

was $500 for the gear package + tlok, and $250 for the install. i'd expect to pay up to $400 on the install depending on where you go.

hour and 15 min til i pick er up!

Re: in the shop!

gears and tlok + SCT tune is sickkkkkkkkk. huge difference and i love my new shifting points. after 30 miles of just driving. raced a volvo s80 (235hp 235lbft $40,000car). i won. started out at about 35mph. just sayin

it was dyno tuned so what are some good hp and lbft torque readouts for the mods i have? ill tell yall mine after;]

the tune he said gave my car 32hp

Re: in the shop!

i highly doubt, very highly doubt, you picked up 32rwhp/tq from a simple tune with normal bolt ons, just fyi. did you get a print out of the dyno sheet? if not dont trust the numbers and I would get the a/f checked to be safe. If they dynoed it they have a print out im sure... make sure you get what you paid for.

Re: in the shop!

I think it is very possible he picked that up pending the dyno conditions. Remember spec, this has been a super cold stretch lately, even in NC. This real cold air will inflate the gain numbers even on a NA car....so from a stock tune to a dyno tune I could see 32 hp gained in an uncorrected reading. SAE or STD corrections, I agree, it probably did not increase 32 hp.

However, if you have the dyno sheets, it should have a before and after graph....we'd love to see it to see where you picked up your power as well.

Re: in the shop!

yea v6stang04. stangmods.com has a package for $528 for Ford racing gears.. sicne they no longer make them for a v6 04 stang you have to get them to send Motive gears instead, which are cheaper.

i have a dyno sheet. i dont see any before readings. he said. "i got 32hp to it, about the best i could do" wether he meant to the motor or rear wheels idk, just what he said. either way its a huge difference so bee happy for me!

also, refering to what venom said. its freezing here
