Angry Is it actually a 1994?

I just called for an O2 sensor from my local parts dealer and found out that the 94 only has 2 sensors, yet when I was under mine fixing a leak I seen 4. All of them look like they are hooked up and according to my parts dealer only 95's came with 4.
When I was in the steering wheel fixing the horn, cruise and airbag systems I noticed a Ford tag that said SN95.
I'm am now confused as to what year and what model I have. The VIN is registered to a 94 but some of the stuff like the O2 sensors point to 95.
How can I fig out exactly what I have? I know the motor has been replaced from a wrecker cause it has markings from one.

Can anyone help fig this out??

Thx in advance

Re: Is it actually a 1994?

It could be a late run 94. Some parts from the new model transferred to yours.

SN95 is the platform designation for the 94-98 Mustangs in general, does not necessarily mean a 95

Ah ok...that makes a little more sense. Now, how can I figure out what year the motor is, since I know it has been replaced??

I am not sure where to look on the block. I was hoping someone could point me in the right area to find it

Re: Is it actually a 1994?

Its not uncommon to find parts for a later model car on the previous year,, ive worked in auto parts for 15 yrs,,, very common... new designs, production line changes etc
