install a start engine breaker for anti-thief

...i'm living in mexico so i've to be carefull...

hi everybody, i'd like to add a hidden button to start my 99 V6 but when i unmount the driver's knee protection appears few plugs and i cannot find out which wire i'm suppose to use (technical book says yellow wire but there is not...). an electric bundle with a yellow sleeve is going to the steering but i'm still not sure to confuse with the airbag system...

does anybody knows how to do?

i heard the best anti thief breaker is to shortcut the gas pump, is that true?

thx for ur help

Julien

you can use a wire tester or get a more up to date manual to track down the wire you are looking for.

Re: install a start engine breaker for anti-thief

the manual is suppose to be the most up to date...that's why i come in here...

Seriously nobody in here knows where to find the gas pump wires for example?

or is that kind of banish topic to avoid to teach stealing...?

coz my electrician is stealing me to install it himself, charges me 500 pesos to pick up the good wires, nothing else...

lol never heard of someone on here being charged pesos

Is the gas pump the only wire you want to go off of or can you settle for a different one?
