dont waste your time upgrading to a slightly larger tire on the stock 15 inch turd rims, the traction sucks and a 225 wont help matters very much. Save the money for 17 inch rims or better.

You need to decide what you want in the end, where you want your car to go. And make SURE thats what you want then work toward that goal in the best possible manor. When you start porting/polishing and doing cam work or building the motor you really need to know what you want out of it in the end in both N/A or boosted applications and power level.

Ive looked into it and here'w what I am getting:

1st mod end of summer:
stage 2+ power package from supersix
218/224 billet cam
CompCams 26915 beehive springs, custom retainers
8.8 dertroit tlok rear with 3.73 gears
with the gears I will get the package from mustangtuning getting the SCT X-Calibrator 2 also.
hopefully pushing above 230 RWHP

2nd mod: winter mod
P-1SC procharger supercharger with 7psi
after this mod, hopefully pushing around 280RWHP

Do you think I will be suprised or disappointed with my estimates? what would anyone else recommend I do, should i go to a bigger MAF also?

The old 207 cam made good power for a stock 3.8 and there are much better
lobes available now, but porting changes what you can do with the cam. Kirk's
setup runs well with a huge (by SPI standards) cam of 220* on the intake but
it also uses the modern fast ramp lobes and a HEAVILY ported
intake, about the most porting you would want with a 3.8 and about right
for a mild 4.2 setup. The 3 main things that make a V6 go fast are:
1. Combination
2. Combination
3. Combination!

I would not recommend a cam like Kirk's for 99% of the NA 3.8 SPI's,
in fact, his setup is awaiting the supercharger which is where that big
cam will really start to shine! It is probably nearly perfect for the blower.
He also has 4.10 gears which offsets any possible minor torque losses
in the bottom end of the RPM range.
