Re: vacuum lines

it def. shocked the hell out of me. just barely touching them gets the black crap all over you. so i felt them and sure enough-dry rot..

i need to call around and get some prices but for the sake of being in class [and a bit lazy lol] anyone know about how much these run?

and is it safe to get from a local auto parts store, or should i get them from Ford??

Re: vacuum lines

you can buy just vacuum hose and cut to fit just have to buy the right size~ just make sure the grade on them are good but I dont think thats going to be an issue.. I mean its air so you dont need fuel grade lines etc etc.

Re: vacuum lines

Yeah, what spec said. I re-routed all my vaccuum lines in my car when I installed the KB and removed all the EGR stuff. I just bought new tube from autozone and just cut everything I needed.

Re: vacuum lines

well the sixers have mostly that plastic crap for the vacuum lines. but amazingly mine hasn't done that yet. the rubber vacuum lines from advanced or auto zone should last u a pretty good while and its pretty cheap.
