Don't feel bad, I had to do the same thing. It would latch but it would still move a little and I didn't like that at all.

Yah I like the chrome better too. They look really good if you smoke them with spray or tint strips.

Re: Oh Yeah

i still need to get my head lights replaced. mine are scratch up. i could probably try to buff them out but it would be easier to replace them. I'm just not sure if i want clear corners or keep them with the amber.

The smoked headlights with the clear reflectors look real good. I've seen a few pics of cars your color with them and they looked stealthy.

Yah that's true...no sense in adding unwanted attention to the stang.
I know a couple of guys who have GT's out there with the smoked/clear corners and blacked out tails, and they never had any problems, but you never know, better to be safe than pay for a ticket.

Either way, having the clear corners makes all the difference...post up pics when you put them in

I just got smoked headlights with the clear reflectors. They look so sexy, cant stop looking at the car. I also got them from a guy on ebay called- DotComRacing and am very satisfied with the product and the shipping was fast. got the pair of headlights with shipping for right at $100. (bulbs were not included).

Re: Oh Yeah

yeap if you go back a page or 2 you can see that its half bumper. it was super easy to install. some 3m tape and some self tapping screws and it was done. the mach1 chin spoiler was harder to install.

ha, that's good to know. That'll look good along with those c-pillar scoops. Really toughen the car up.

I'd take the new edge (99-04) body over the 79-93 fox body style anyday...just looks way more mustang and more appealing to me.

Eh, you're far from rice...the bumper add on is not seen too much on mustangs, but it's not ricey...besides I've seen worse, take these for example
