Question Pirelli P Zero question...

Just bought a set of bullet rims with pirelli p zeros on em, I have 70 percent tread left on my stock v6 rims so I'm waiting to wear em out (or sell them) before I put the bullets on, just a few questions...

How do they perform in the rain?
Can I launch harder/easier with these?
How long do they last in general (if I don't launch hard all the time)

if anyone has any experience with these tires I'd love to hear about em, thanks!

Re: Pirelli P Zero question...

life of a tire has as much to do with care as it does in what they are~ (generally)

alignment, tire pressure, rotation are mainly the key

I have that tire on mine 235 55 ZR 17 they are ok.

Rain is not the best for them I tend find they hydro plane easily. Compared to my last couple of tires (different car) They tend to spin sometimes if it's raining. Thats under normal acceleration.

I really don't launch so I can't say.

Last is pretty good. Mine have 32k miles and about 40% tread life remaining. They are durable, I ran over a high curb with them ( not on purpose) and they had a little mark. They hold air well.

Re: Pirelli P Zero question...

Right on thanks guys, sounds they are about longevity but not performance so much... Will they at least handle better than the stock v6 tires I have on now?

Re: Pirelli P Zero question...

Yes. I have them on the rear of my car right now. They do a lot better on the street than a lot of tires I've tried out over the years.

Re: Pirelli P Zero question...

Ok I finally got em on the car, they definitely grip waaayy better than what I had, I launched at 6k with zero break in, they gripped after about 3 spins and I wa gone, awesome traction! Ride quality is way better also, overall handeling is way better too, loving them!
