Engine Swap/ Engine Shakes

Ok, here's my deal.... I recently put a 89 thunderbird sc engine in my 94 mustang but I took the blower off and swapped my mustang on it. The car runs not too bad right now but I did use my flywheel and my harmonic balancer. The car was shaking really bad and I was told the harmonic balancer needs to be neutrally balanced so I took it out and removed the weight from it and now it's pretty good and only shakes a little at 1500 rpms but other than that it's ok. Would it be shaking because of my makeshift harmonic balancer or is it because of the flywheel and it being weighted in some way also? Thanks

The flywheel has to be neutral balance too, you can take the weights off the fly
also, maybe even without pulling the motor... I did not know the HB had a weight
you could remove, I thought it was cast in there! Never seen one like that,
all the ones I saw were 1 piece.

the HB will be neutral if its solid round, if it has an indentation on it you will know its weighted, but you dont remove the weight. The flywheel also has to match.
