I would recommend getting exhaust, intake, gears and a tune. That will easily get you in the 15's for a little less than 1.5k possibly. We used to have a list of first mods to do to a V6 in stage form, ways to get the best gain on a budget, but I forget where it went.

Re: 2003 Blue Stang need performance

if you get a good tune it will eliminate the need for a shift kit, personally i would keep some kind of mufflers on it. pulleys arn't really THAT helpfull probably money better spent elsewhere

99-04 v6 auto's run high 15's stock with a good driver... but anyways 4.10's with t-loc, a xcal2, exhaust,a ebay CAI, and pullies would probaly be the best things you can do.

Re: 2003 Blue Stang need performance

I may be wrong here but I'd say gears 4.10 or 4.11, dual exhaust keep stock size pipe or x pipe, programmer, and Nitrous 100hp shot unless you're not used to nitrous then start at the 50 shot. First mod I did after taking out the baffle and screen plus K&N was 100 shot of NOS I have a Holley power fogger kit. With a 5 speed I ran 8.2 avg after 5 runs.

EDIT: 1/8 mile of course.........sorry

If you run straight pipes with no mufflers it will sound like a pissed off honda civic, or tractor, take your pick.
