99 Stang, 110K mi, $3500?!?!

Looking at used cars and I came across a white 99 stang for 3.5K. Seems awfully low for that car, even though they admit to having some damage to the rear bumper. Am I right to be weary of this one? Is the price too good to be true? I'm gonna go check it out on Saturday.

I'd have the frame checked and such before paying quite that low...

You also may want to get the VIN # and run a CarFax report on it. With the price being that low, I wouldn't be surprised if it has a Salvage title.

Even if it does though, as long as the frame is straight, it's probably worth at least that much.

Re: 99 Stang, 110K mi, $3500?!?!

I think it's likely the frame is straight, unless the owner is lying. He says that there are some black marks and paint chips, and he didn't mention any structural damage. And I guess there is a dent from it being hit by a football. lol If that's all there is, and the car is in good shape mechanically, then I think it'd be a snag to get this one, even though white is not my favorite color for a car. But yeah, I'm still waiting on getting the VIN from the guy, but when I do, get it, I'll definately run a CARFAX report.

Thanks for the responses!

Edit: Heheh, I realized two people who responded have white cars also! LOL Meant no offsense or anything, just personal preferance.

True, but I was hoping to at least look at it. Oh well.
