What springs are you lowering with? Tokico is a good brand. Put those on my V6 when I lowered it at 30k, they had to be changed at 130k so I figure that's not bad for a car lowered on cut C-springs.

Re: Struts and Shocks

so what would be something good, to replace the stock ones with cause they are shot. Plus i am going to have them out to change the springs anyways so might as well change them all at once. Also which caster camber plates are good. I have seen three and four bolt, what are the difference in the two besides one has four bolts?

Re: Struts and Shocks

Maximum Motorsports makes a high quality caster-camber component which also comes with a limited lifetime warranty. Koni (which are on sale right now), Bilsteins, and Tokico are good shocks.

Interesting. So you didn't see any difference from the soft to firm settings? I've put these on s197 cars and could tell quite a bit of difference. The softest was slightly softer than stock and the firm was quite a bit firmer than stock (although not as stiff as the Koni Yellows on full Firm). I have not had a chance to install/ride on a SN95 car with the D-specs though.

Re: Struts and Shocks

I'm not sure of the year of your car, but if it's somewhat old (pre 05), you can get some tokicos from the ford deal, the 01 Bullitt used tokicos as OEM parts. They are black, but tokicos none the less. Just stating if money is an issue they run about (200-250 for the set). Also, I doubt they'll fit newer models. If you have a newer model and money is an issue tokicos are still the best part for the cheapest price you can get. They come in blue which are non-adjustable and white which are adjustable. If money is not an issue I would highly recommend Yellow Konis or Bilstein.
