Hey all, I'm thinking about modding up my car more this summer (graduation present for myself). Anyway, What I'm thinking is heads, and upper/lower intake Swap (P&P) and a new cam. I am either going to be purchasing the stock heads and intakes from a 3.8 engine of my year(2002) and getting them ported and polished locally and purchasing a cam to go with it or just get a package from SSM or RPM. What do you guys reccomend between those two. Also, with either set-up, will I need to pruchase new Roller rockers for the car as well? Are my stock ones ok? And what about valve springs and the like?

Also, I'm sure I'll need a new tune. Should I go ahead and get it dyno tuned, or go through Justin and VMP?

Any feedback would be great, as well as anythign I'm missing!

Re: Question!

rpm and ssx are pretty equal, all things considered, it really comes down to personal preference. either way, i'd have them do the porting job, becuz they have an established reputation with v6 mustangs. some local shop isn't likely to have that... i believe they'll sell you everything you need for the swap in a package. that's the route i'd go personally

as for dynotuning or vmp, you could go either way, personally i'd go with a dynotune, cuz it's just cool to watch
I don't own a mustang at the moment
