SuperCoupe Bottom end Needed

What it is. Here's the deal. Gotta 01 Mustang 3.8 supercharged. I'm goin down a LOT in pully size and am looking to build my bottom end. Word has it that I can swap the bottom end from a Thunderbird SuperCoupe (via its fordged from the factory).

#1 is this true?
#2 Where can I get my hands on a SuperCoupe crank, conn rods, and pistons?
#3 Do any of guys have any those and are willing to part with them?

I look forward to hearing from you guys.

Yup, the supercoupe has forged internals

A junk yard perhaps or look around on the internet, check with supersixmotorsports.com

#3 Do any of guys have any those and are willing to part with them?
I dont every see them on this forum for sale

You could do better though... if you are going to rip the motor apart why settle for OEM (YEARS old) tech when you can buy new forged internals that are stronger and better? It will cost more I guess but you get what you pay for.

Re: SuperCoupe Bottom end Needed

Cool. Thats whats up. I appreciate your reply. No, I'm not looking for the whole block. Just the crank, conn rods, and pistons with perferably low miles. How reliable are these components with decent mileage (100k mi or more) on them?

Re: SuperCoupe Bottom end Needed

Really don't want to mess with my displacement quite yet. Still having a lot of fun exploring the legs of what I currently have.

Now, for something completely different.......what do you guys know about sponsorship? As far as ediquette. Approaching business' and such. What are the correct questions to ask? How do I go about asking/approaching them? What questions do I need to be prepare for? What kind of responses do I need to be prepared for?

Completely new to this sponsorship issue, but am very interested to learn as much as I can and am prepared for the uphill climb that I have before me. I look forward to hearing from you guys and what you have to share.

Forged, I would say around 350+. If you're staying with stock I wouldn't go much over 300, or 10 psi for that matter. Also, you can google supercoupe, thunderbird s/c, or mercury xr7 for parts. I had found a site but can't remember the link to it.
