Question Is this possible.

I drive an automatic and i was wondering if it was possible to take off the lock on the shifer so i dont have to press in the button to shift into nuetral to drive and drive to 2nd...but... i still want the lock on from going to neutral to reverse...is this possible to do?

theres one shift kit i believe that enables u to do this maneuver.. it like replaces ur whole shifter thing.. might cost u tho..

YES. But I would still leave the D-N lock in there. So you do not hit neutral when racing.
You have to take it apart and then you will see how it works, and how to mod it.
It's a simple piece. I assume you want to be able to downshift quickly from D to 2.
