Yep.

You need to remove the trunk lining on the side with the taillight. You will see some big plastic retainers, which either pop or screw in.

Once you get that off, there are like 12 bolts holding the brake light to the body. Be careful, they have rubber grommets/washers on them to keep water out of the brakes.

Remove the bolts, then the brake light will pull away. From that you will see three sets of bulbs, just twist them to get them out.

It does take some time to figure out how to remove the trunk lining and finding all the bolts holding the brake light in.

Ken, Is that standard for all Mustangs? Remmember, he has a 98. I know your 99+ are one piece, but arent the 94-98 3 pieces?

Doh..

Didn't notice the year...

I have absolutely no idea what the inferior pre-99's are like, but I'll bet it's an inferior setup

ha ha. yeh but to be honest it shouldn't be that different. sure wish someone wit a pre 99 would decide to post on here. just take that carpet and lining in the trunk just behind the tail lights out and you should be able to see everything

the trunk lining in a pre 99 is four piece. top/back, two sides and a tiny little front piece. Becareful taking it out. It has a spefic order (i don't remember which) and it's help by screw pins and christmass tree pins. they will come out easy when all the pins are loose. Don't pull hard if it won't come out, just get more pins. Don't know about the lights, but that's the trunk.
