It's all about taste. I think it looks good when done correctly.

Re: streetglow

I used to have blue, but ater a while I got tired of it and ended up just taking them off. I guess it just didn't go with the look I was going for.

In retrospect, I feel kind of bad about taking them off...it was one of the last projects me and my dad did together on the car. Now his back is in too bad a shape to do anything concerning the car anymore.

Think that's why I leave mine on. Me and my dad spent weeks on the wiring for it.

I have blue ones on my car. They're cool for about a month. I never use em. Partly because of the legalness of it.

Re: streetglow

Yeah, mine didn't work at first. He thought of the idea of a connection being loose in the connector box. Sure enough it was a little loose but still making contact. I didn't think that would have caused it but he did. And sure enough he fixed it.

Re: streetglow

Why do we feel the need to put lights on the bottom of the car. I use to give people hell about it because I think it is ghey and mega ricer. But I understand the pressure on young people to be tacky and wannbe like the thug rap artist drug dealers with their bling crap and tacky trinkets found on sale at walmart and Pepboys on the useless automotive junk isles.

Re: streetglow

Very true. I like my stereo but not as much as I used to. I will still like the crispness, but not so much the bass.

Re: streetglow

I dunno about growing out of stereos. True...my tastes have changed as far as sound of the stereo, but I've yet to come across a factory system that does most songs any justice. It's just amazing to let someone listen to their favorite song in a good stereo and watch their face when they start hearing lines in the song they have never heard before. There's hidden bass lines that most ppl have never heard.

Precisely. That sound you get from a good stereo that lets you hear parts, tones, and sounds in songs you didn't even know were there.

Re: streetglow

Personally... I wouldn't let neons anywhere near my cars. They might catch something. But it doesn't matter what I or anyone else thinks. If you like them, keep them. If you don't... don't.

dam, why do we feel the need to do anything to our cars then? wait, maybe cause the owner likes it and thats all that matters. i could say "dam, why the hell did you do all that crap to your v6, shouldve just bought a GT." now how do you feel. probably dont care, cause you like it and thats all that matters.

i would say grow up, but you need to slap that age train in reverse old man.

Well I could say grow up and get that tacky crap out of your head. Only kids play with glow in the dark stuff. As far as mentioning why I got a V6 is just about as retarded of a question as you could ask me on this site that was originally devoted to v6 stangs. I could easily ask why was your non mustang *** here to begin with. But I thought you were cool.

So please I have had the muscle cars and all the v8's. I bought the V6 as a challange. How do I feel you ask. Just fine. I see a very big difference in modding a car for performance and looks to be vastly different than putting on Florescent tubes light under a car. They belong in a house or a fish tank BY GOD!!! I have my own views and I will stick to them. There are people who like neons and I can see them on a 100% show car but on the street they are just a waste of money in terms of cost and upkeep in having breakable tubes under your car.

As far as the age thing. My age does not bother me does it bother you!!!

lol, I've been waiting to see how long it would take for that one to come up.

You are not too cool for neons, neons are too cool for you!

Lol, j/k. I will admitt, I did grow out of them. I still think they are okay though.

Re: streetglow

I am going to solve the moving violation prob , I am going to make my
neons come on only when 2 conditions are met: 1-when my parking lights are on and (2) when its in park so that eliminates all tickets
my neons under the dash will be functional as dome lights
