There is always something to fix (part help)

well, it is finally time. My power steering rack is about to bite the dust. Filled her with fluid this morning, tonight, it is gone. I even tried that Lucas Power steering restore stuff...

So, my question is, will a rack from a 99 fit my 00?

its remanufactured and being sold on ebay by a top-selling business for $189. Oh, there is free shipping and the core deposit is only $35.

yup. just 99 and 01. 00' was the cobra r. then of course the termi's. unsure about the differences or likeness of the 01 and 03-04 steering racks. but i'm pretty sure they are the same considering the suspension set ups are the same.

Try some of the online Mustang specific salvage yards. They often have cobras of all years that are being parting out. Might be able to get a steering rack for cheap that way.
