Re: shift kit

i want a chip but they are all around $300-400..im looking for something a little more inexpensive.. (besides the intake, exhaust, and all that). i am ordering 4.10's and underdrive pullies and as i was looking at a thread to mod a v6 there was a shift kit. worth buying?

Re: shift kit

a manual valve body shift kit works good but... if they mess up you can be out a transmission so make sure you get a good kit have a great installer and do the research into it first.

Re: shift kit

A shift kit will cost about 80.00 to 100.00 Plus the install. IMO I'd save and get the chip

Re: shift kit

Hey, if you have an automatic and you are going with 4.10's, you will need a tune to correct your speedometer.

Re: shift kit

I just picked up an XCal2 from vmptuning.com and I love it. You can do alot with it, and use it for 99% of your future mods.
