Its time for the hoist

well tomorrow morning im getting my engine in....im having my moms "friend" deliver it to me...now to get off the truck im using my hoist but where should i hook it too to get it off the truck? and i dont have bolts for my stand yet how long can i leave the engine hanging on the hoist? thank u gentlemen! i have never used a hoist always some friends,chains,pole or a tree lol....this seems much easlier just need some guidence

damn i think you can host it buy the upper motor mounts. when I did the motor swap on my saturn thats what i did. i had it on a cherry picker for about 2 days not sure how long you can do that. Dont think it will do any harm.

thats whats up if worse comes to worse i chain it up all over and leave it hangin lol

as long as you have it secured, leaving it on the cherry picker will be fine.

i've seen an engine stay on the picker for like a week and did no harm

as long as its supported correctly it wont hurt it to hang.
