Buying

Looking to buy a mustang as they've been a car I've always loved. Found a 2000 V6 Mustang. 121 000km on it. Automatic transmission.
Features: Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Tilt Steering, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Alloy Wheels, Air Bags
Priced at $7500CAN
It has some minor wear (especially on the seats) and small scratches on the paint. Overall it's in pretty good condition.

what do you think? is this a good price? anyone have a car at this year? any information would be great!

Re: Buying

Is 7500 the same as American dollars? If so, that's a little too much for a car with that many miles. I paid 3k less for the same vehicle and mine was a manual tranny.

Re: Buying

Since it's at a dealership, i dont know how much lower they'd go. I agree, the price sounds too high.

Re: Buying

Yah you can pick 00 v6 mustangs in manual or auto transmission form with that mileage (75,185 equivalent) for less...4-6k dollars. So whatever the loonie equivalent of 4-6,000 dollars is, is what you should pay for that car.

Re: Buying

def. too high. i would be able to sell my 04 V6 for that price, but def. not a 00..

and another thing to consider, the new edge body style is rather popular, so you will find another one soon [considering how easy it is to 'jump' on something just because you really want a Mustang]... there are plenty of these still around, and a good amount are still in good condition.

good luck, and post some pics when you decide to buy!
