I bought my SCT when I had just an air intake and a single flowmaster, even aside from the tune itself (which will add more HP) there are definitely benefits to having one:

1) speed limiter GONE, I have had my 4.0 a little over 150mph
2) when you do gears (on a v6 it's an eventual must) you'll be able to adjust the speedo so it's accurate
3) if you go the nitrous route, you'll need a separate tune for it and you can easily swap out your naturally aspirated tune with the nitrous tune
4) if you ever do a custom dyno (better than any mail order tune) you'll need a device to upload it with, SCT and Diablo are the most popular
5) rev limiter... especially with gears, 2d gear for me used to top out at about 65. When I put 3.73s on it topped out at about 57, so my 0-60 time went to **** because I had to shift. Raising the rev limiter a tad not only kept me in my power range for a longer period of time, but it allowed me to hit 63mph in second, so my 0-60 dropped to about 5.9 (best case, usually 6.2 or so)

I think the speed limiter is the best reason to get it, no more civic SIs taking you after 115 lol

yeah jordan your going to love it. make sure you get the custom tune id get a 93 (91 if thats all you have) and a 87 in case your someplace that doesnt have anything else.

Is it a good tuner? And yea I will probably do what you said. Get the two different tunes for the different gasses. But you are right about AM not having the combo pack. I think I'm gonna call them and ask them if I can get that deal and I'll let everyone know what they say. Cause they should have the combo pack just like they do for all the other ones.

Its nice i tried it out today with the 87 tune and pulled 180 RWHP 246 RWTQ (acording to the Livewire) Next is to change fuel filter and run half tank of 93 then refill with 93 and try the 93 tune.

suggest a gears T loc and tuner package, UDP CAI Tuner Package and then a Gears T loc UDP CAI tuner package, maybe one with exhaust too.
