Words of advice before the storm

I will FINALLY be replacing the power steering rack on Saturday.

So, any words of wisdom, pointers, advice, things to watch out for, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

I did this on my cobra not too long ago, it's pretty straight forward and I don't remember anything out of the ordinary happening.

To prevent needing an alignment with the new rack mark and count the number of turns needed on each end for the tie rods. This way you can thread them onto the new tie rods exactly the same and should see no difference in alignment.

you can also compare the stock vs new and make sure the tie rod length on each side is the same but threads should also work fine if you count them (just an extra way to check)

That sucks dude. At least you got the whole install process under your belt...will make the next one that much easier.
