Intake control runner

Can someone point me to the location of the intake manifold control runner on a 99' 3.8. Im throwing a code saying that it is stuck open and I have no clue where it is to check it out..

I found out theres a small plastic clip on the runner that holds a pushrod, that clip was missing, which lets the pushrod fall out, and leaving the control open, damn clip cost 9 bucks at the dealer, the size of a pencil eraser. All fixed now.

IMRC butterflies didn't get added to the 3.8 until '01. I'm a little confused.

Far as i know 99-00s Dont have IMRCs. ?

Yah as far as I know, they used IMRC's starting in 01. That was the cause for the extra 3hp and 5lbs of torque. Your runners should be open all the time...as where the IMRC keeps one air passage open and the other open or closed through a valve plate based on rpm range.

below 3000 = closed
above 3000 = open

Guys your right, that was a typo from me, its an 04 that had the prob (wifes), I have a 99' just a brain fart.
