Re: Holy crap! New heads!

Those are some very nice cfm's. And not much more cost than anyother set of P&P heads.

Comes with a hefty price too. Glad to see that it is being improved though

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

It's a bit more but not too much. It's low enough that when I look into a set, I would get these over another set.

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

They are very nice.

There may be some other new ones out by the time you are looking.

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

No sense putting a blower on a stock bottom end, and we think that we can do better to take advantage of the blower.

I agree

They make blowers for stock engines, makes plenty of sense
but high boost on a stock bottom end is pushing it

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

Ok you both missed my point which was referring to my setup.

Not saying it's bad Just that why put it on now to later upgrade the motor and have to redo it all.

Build the motor, get it all fine tuned then add the right blower.

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

If you ahve no blower at all right now, I agree. If you have a kit sitting idle ???

I agree with the overall idea, build the engine first and then add boost

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

Build the motor. Spec a blower to take advantage of it's performance.

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

IMO taking what you got a step further, you coulod get almost 300 RWHP NA,
so figuring that as a baseline and adding boost ...

Re: Holy crap! New heads!

Don't know about 300 but should be close.

And we are not looking at entry level blowers either.

Yeap as I have said many times , build the engine around the power adder not the power adder around the engine .

I agree. It's just like selecting the cam, intake, etc around the heads and not the other way around for a N/A motor.
