Re: 3rd BREAK LIGHT RESTORATION

Very nice man...looks like new! You could stick a vinyl overlay on the 3rd brake light to help prevent fading, plus it'll look sleek...do the same with the tail lights...tinted tails on silver mustangs looks sick.

Yah it turned out real good, do you remember the name of the resto kit? Or was it a something Ford techs use at dealerships?

Re: 3rd BREAK LIGHT RESTORATION

for 76.50 i hope it came with a good hooker, or at least a boob shot.
Heres what I did Make a mix of soap and water, Get some 400 and 1000 grit sandpaper, Get some mothers Back to black, get a 3M Drill buffer. Wet sand using water/soap mix with 400 to get the bulk of white plastic off. Clean it off. Wet sand with 1000 and soap/water mix till smooth. Clean it off. Use the mothers back to black on the buffer pad and keep in moving. Repeat last step 2-3 times. Then a final Coat of back to black with a rag by hand. Mine looks like new.
