Well..it all kinda depends. I know at one point some ppl on the site were launching from idle because their car responded better. Normally, I brake stall mine to the point right before spinning and get on the gas as soon as the last yellow light lights up.

It really depends on too many different factors for us to just be able to tell you a certain RPM. Tires, suspension set-up, how much torque you're making, what kind of surface you are trying to launch on, etc etc etc.

The best way to find out is to practice. Go to the track and run it 5 or 6 times and try some different launch methods. The track is always a better indicator than the street, because you can actually see your '60 ft time instead of going by the feeling in your *** to decide which method is faster. Ok... that didn't sound exactly right, but you get the point...
