4.2 stroker

well just wanted to know who here is runnin this setup on 99 and newer stangs ialready bought the engine wanted to know if i need to change the whole wiring or how yall do it any advice on what else i will need and is the tranny the same or different thanks in advamce mine is a 2000 3.8

Your fine on the transmission. You should be able to use your stock wiring then just get it tuned.

Yeah have someone put the whole thing in, heads, cams and all. New cams u need to retune everything so just have someone dyno it after install.

Where did you get the 4.2 from?

All you have to do is remove the stock motor, and replace it with the 4.2 + whatever else is missing. (heads, intakes, etc, front accessories)


And get a tune.

so then i would keep the 4.2 heads and stuff and the headers and waterpump and all the front acceries from my 3.8
