Wheel spacers

I was looking through Moss' catalogue and I was checking out some wheel spacers from 5mm to 45mm for the 05's and up. I was wondering if they were available somewhere for a 97 v6 or if not, if I could use the ones for the 05? Also, how wide could I go?

Re: Wheel spacers

Well Cheap does not mean worthless. Billet Aluminum is Billet Aluminum. Centric spacers machined from a CNC machine is all the same if made from the same material. These are what I bought and they are terrific

Re: Wheel spacers

Can you put them on all 4 wheels or do they just go on the rear wheels?

Do not put spacers on the front. They will completely throw all steering geometery into chaos. Only use them in the rear.

Re: Wheel spacers

I thought with wheel spacers you run the chance of ruining the outer wheel bearing since it's the weakest of the two and the spacers shift the load to the outer bearing?

Re: Wheel spacers

Just get a nice 10 or 10.5 wide rim in the rear and you'll be set.
