New Addition to the Family
We're now a two Mustang Family. Found a Stang on craigslist from my daughter. She doesn't even have a license (permit only) yet and was bugging the heck out of me for a car. She found it and showed it to me the next morning and I said what the heck the guys 5 minutes from us, lets go look.
The car itself is pretty good. the paint is faded on both bumpers, and the roof and hood - normal for an Arizona Car this age. The stang has about 300,000 miles on the body, but about 80,000 on its current 3.8 and transmission. The inside is real nice for a 96, a few problems but nothing we can't fix. The drivers seat is jammed in its current position. Not a problem for my daughter or me, we are both tall. My wife is only 5ft 2inches, we have a problem there. It needs part of the side skirting behind the front wheel re-attached, its in the truck and its white but we can take care of that when we get the other paint issues fixed. It's also missing the RH side turn signal lens, which I've seen on ebay for $40.
The guy wanted $2750 for it and I asked him if he would except $2600, he did and we took her home.
Now my daughter can start pestering me about something else.
