Re: american muscle

Try stangmods.com or do a Google search and that will pull up a lot of options. American muscle is probably your best source IMO.

Re: american muscle

American muscle is one of the best sites for customer service on the net.

Remember that the cheapest isn't always the best. Also when you order from them click on their link on our site to go to them as it helps this site.

Re: american muscle

American muscle is about on par with many of the other "good price" online sites and they offer free shipping which some of the other sites do not. I shop on 4 main sites and they are all within a couple dollars of each other some with free shipping, some without.

Now, with that said, do NOT, and I mean do NOT go to RPMOutlet. I'm not sure if they have come up in your research yet or not, but do NOT go there. If you haven't searched them, just go ahead and search the interwebs about them and you will see why not.

Now, with all that said...what parts are you looking for? Depending on the part, NQS has some real good member prices on parts.

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews...enough that I avoid them as well.

Re: american muscle

I tend to shop at AM and then "random" places. LethalPerformance some times, but they can be a bit more expensive on certain items. As was stated before, list your items and the vets here should be able to point you in the right direction.

Re: american muscle

American Muscle is probably your best bet. Even if they send a faulty or damaged product...they remedy the situation as quickly and as possible. Also their free shipping is damn good.

I usually keep Stangmods as no. 2 on my list...shipping takes about a day or two longer than AM, but is also free. (it could also be the "mail" in my area)

CJ Pony Parts isn't a bad option either. They finally jumped on the free shipping boat, so they're back on my list. Shipping usually takes longer than the first 2, but you can usually get all your OEM parts there.

Latemodel Restoration Supply also carries numerous aftermarket parts and OEM parts...they do have $14.95 flat rate shipping though...so keep that in mind.

V6MustangStuff has a few good parts as well. Their shipping is based off the item, so it can vary...depending on the item, there prices can be higher than other places, so make sure you do your homework before buying.

I bought my black fuel door from Ninosport.com and had no shipping/product issues. Free shipping and the site layout is identical to Stangmods. Might want to keep them in mind also.

As said, you'll usually get what you pay for...so don't just buy from somewhere because they are the cheapest. Quality, shipping, ordering, even receiving the product can become issues...as with RPM Outlet, Blue Oval Industries, etc.

I've got a set of kyb's on mine and have been very pleased. I'd give kyb a hard consideration. They're adjustable. So u aren't stuck with one setting.

Re: american muscle

the passenger side strut is shot. whenever i go over even the slightest bump it rattles horribly. so instead of just replace it, im going to keep them all in the same condition and wear. and im having trouble deciding on the brand. but american muscle IS the cheapest. ik that now. its a daily driver, but i want to push it into the corners haha

Re: american muscle

I have bought parts from both American Muscle and Lethal Performance, either company is a great choice. But I do like Lethal's Customer Service a bit more, they where able to help on a pulley issue on a personal level.

I've also dealt with AM's customer service and they are top notch.

Re: american muscle

Check with John at NQS Performance. They're a site sponsor and carry shocks and struts...tokico I believe. You can PM John at "John@NQS" for products and pricing.

Sounds about right. I've saved close to $100 the last 2 weeks on parts thru nqs even after shipping is added in. I'll be placing another order with them Friday. 3rd or 4 in the last 3 weeks. They are the way to go on parts they carry. I've racked up the maximum motorsports stuff. Gonna be a fun couple weekends coming up.

No need to be leary. My orders were shipped real quick...and I had the tracking number the same day the order was placed...or at worst the next day. So no need to fret...specially if you are getting MM stuff. They will definitely beat any other prices I've ever seen for MM parts.
