3.8-4.2+ V-6 Intake (pics)

With people porting and making intake mods these pictures may help.
The cut apart intake will show most of the bad ares of the manifold and provide an idea of casting thickness.

fyi, fred got 220rwhp and 230rwtq off of a rich dyno run from a stock splitport (99+) 3.8L with only his custom lower and upper intakes, and a wild cam ground by rgr. that's at least 60rwhp/40rwtq over stock. this is big news guys.

he has offered to help me troobleshoot the blower project and maybe help me out with one of those lower intake manifolds. (more of this: )

no, I did not do anything on his cam, but we talked
alot about cams. He advanced the timing and got
good gains. The cam is a bit bigger than a 207 cam. (211)

And the lower is essentially ported. The upper is has the cool stuff on it.

What was that 3rd pic that did not load Fred?

Plus I am having trouble seeing that bolt boss where
you made a long one a short bolt and welded it so you could port
the turn on the back drivers side, that would be the 2nd pic, left side,
but it does not look too bad in that shot. How far does it intrude?
